Getting the Most out of Ultraskier
For Skiers
You can use Ultraskier to bring your skiing to the next level and have more fun taking any or all of the following approaches
- Look around and find tips on how to ski better from experienced instructors. You can read those tips and then put them into action on your own.
- Really get serious and find a ski instructor or other snow professional and book a lesson. Tiger Woods has a swing coach, Bodie Miller has a ski coach. You can either use the Ultraskier geographical listings or go through the tips and find an instructor that really speaks to you and plan your next ski trip to get a lesson from someone who will really give you want you want.
- Do you know more than the average Joe? Register for Ultraskier and contribute tips of your own.
For Snow Professionals
Improve your teaching skills and connect with new students who learn the way you teach.
- Read around to see what other instructors are doing and become a better teacher.
- Register on Ultraskier, fill out a profile and get listed in our directory of instructors, guides and coaches.
- Contribute tips of your own so that people looking for the right ski instructor can see how you teach and request you for lessons.
Once you're registered as a member, you'll want to go and fill out your profile (see the sidebar under "Your Stuff") and say which ski school, guide service or team you work for, leave your contact information for how to book you, say a bit about yourself, and maybe upload some photos or video of you in full shred (or with a class).
If you really want to connect with prospective clients and other pros, start writing down some of your best tips. Every time someone reads the tip, it will give your name and link back to your profile and your contact information so people can get in touch with you and find out how to join you on the snow!
